The John Philip Sousa National High School Honor Band brings together outstanding high school instrumentalists from across the country for a national honor band experience. The 2026 ensemble will take place July 12–15 in Greater Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts, conducted by Michael J. Colburn, former Director of “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, and will culminate in a performance at historic Mechanics Hall, where John Philip Sousa performed more than 27 times.
