On January 7-9, 2010 the Arizona Music Educators Association 74th annual in-service for Arizona music educators takes place at the Mesa Marriott and Convention Center.  This is an intense three nights and two days of workshops specifically for music educators featuring a wide range of topics designed to energize and improve classroom instruction. AMEA does offer recertification credits for music teachers who attend the conference.  The All-State Jazz Band and Clinic Band will open the conference this year with their performance taking place on Thursday night.
